The framework agreement is for the period 2019-2020 with the possibility to extend to 2022.
The University’s real estate portfolio consists of 16 locations and comprises around 189,000 m2 gross floor area. Seven properties are freehold of which three are listed.
Paul Stotesbury (partner at Redept): “We are delighted that the University has chosen Redept as its real estate advisor. This tender matched well with our track record in advising occupers in large-scale, complex accommodation projects. The University is an important community member in the city. That demands well-balanced advice that takes into account the wide spectrum in which the University operates. We are looking forward to a fruitful and longlasting relationship with the University.”
Manager Real Estate and Accommdation of the Rotterdam University for Applied Sciences, Martijn Baarendse: “Our real estate portfolio has a dynamic character. Important reasons for this are its affinity with the city of Rotterdam and the adaptive character of the portfolio in maintaining contact with the educative process. With Redept as new real estate advisor the University has found a suitable partner from an intensive tender procedure to advise and support us in future real estate transactions. We are looking forward to a beneficial cooperation.”
