A consortium of Redept, Procap and Rigo has been selected by the Police as one of the three framework contractors for Real Estate and Accommodation Advice. Within this agreement will be be supporting the Police in the coming years in the realisation of suitable and flexible accommmodation. The selection is a result of a European Tender in which 29 candidates took part.
Leon van Leersum, partner at Redept: “By combining our powers we are able to put together a unique team. We are all specialists in our own area of expertise and with this cooperation we can comply perfectly with the Police’s specialist demands.”
For director Frits Schutte of Procap, the societal relevance of the challenge is leading: “The Police is in the middle of the community and carries out responsible work. Both organisationally and financially they are currently under pressure. Under instructions of the Police we will be carrying out various research assignments and business cases. Whereby we will not only be applying our knowledge and experience of real estate and accommodation issues but also in the area of spatial processes and public space management. We are used to working in a context where projects are approached from a functional, financial and societal view. With the Police it is about public real estate, paid for with tax revenues where large amounts are involved. Ultimately we want to ensure that the Police’s real estate portfolio seamlessly supports the core activities of the organisation.”
