Alliander sold Kenter to ABP and OMERS Infrastructure in 2023. As a result of the disposal, in combination with the fact that Alliander renewed its own accommodation in Leeuwarden, Kenter had to look for its own location in the city. Not an easy task given the scarcity of suitable locations. Mainly because of the desired combination of representative, sustainable office space with warehouse space in the immediate vicinity and sufficient parking. Redept was engaged by Kenter to support it in this search. Redept identified a location that meets all Kenter’s requirements. Landlord Maasduinen is renovating this 1960s building into a modern multi-tenant office building that will have energy label A. At the same time, this landlord is developing a number of light industrial units on the adjacent site, without having to make any concessions in the number of parking spaces.
