Grid to great is relocating to The Gallery, in the technology heart of Twente
Grid to great will move to The Gallery, a multi-tenant office building at the heart of the University of Twente campus. Redept negotiated a lease for 300 m² of office space in the complex owned by ASR. From this new office, Grid to great can further develop its innovative solutions for digitising substations in the energy grid, which makes a positive contribution to the energy transition.
Since its founding in 1983, Grid to great (formerly known as Locamation) has focused on mission-critical process automation technology, with a strong focus on the power industry since 2000. From the turn of the century, it has focused on the power industry. Its substation automation systems are or have been installed in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden and China, among others.
Managing energy grids is in its DNA, Grid to great is part of the Alliander group, parent company of Dutch DSO Liander, the largest grid operator in the Netherlands.
