Redept leased approximately 1,350 m² on the 20th floor of this now iconic office tower for accountants and consultants Grant Thornton. This is the second rental transaction in Central Park for Redept.
In the first quarter of 2024, Grant Thornton will move into the new-build development ‘Central Park’ in Utrecht. The organisation will lease the 20th floor in the building located at Stadsplateau 38 in Utrecht. Grant Thornton sees the branch in Utrecht near Central Station as an opportunity to attract new talent and to stimulate multidisciplinary collaboration.
The choice for Utrecht
“Sustainable growth is a spearhead in our strategy and this includes an appropriate accommodation policy. This means, among other things, that we are working towards multidisciplinary branches in larger cities. The Utrecht location fits in perfectly with this policy. When selecting the new location, Grant Thornton set accessibility and sustainability as important criteria. Due to the A++++ energy label, the location close to Utrecht Central station and sufficient parking for (electric) vehicles, ‘Central Park’ emerged as the winner.
Central Park: green and sustainable
Right next to Utrecht Central Station, approximately 28,000 m² of office space and 500 m² of hospitality space have been created in ‘Central Park’. ‘Central Park’ is a true eye-catcher and a real addition to the skyline of Utrecht. The building has 23 floors and the city park at a height of 45 meters make Central Park a comfortable and inspiring working environment. Smart technology with smart facades, light sensors and the large number of charging stations for electric cars and bicycles ensure a pleasant indoor climate and ease of use. The BREEAM Excellent certificate guarantees that the office building meets all sustainability requirements.
