On behalf of Universities of the Netherlands, Redept leased approximately 900 m² of office space in the yet to be developed Spuigebouw Campus The Hague of Leiden University.
Leiden University is preparing the development of a new, large university building on the Spui in the centre of The Hague. This former department store will house approximately 3,000 students and staff of the University. According to the planning, the doors of the Spuigebouw will open in September 2025. In addition to the University, the building is being developed as a ‘university ecosystem’ in which various other users, including UNL and Open University, will be housed. Universities of the Netherlands will rent office space on the 5th and 6th floors of the building.
In the Universities of The Netherlands (UNL), Dutch universities work together for a strong university sector. In the UNL context, the 14 Dutch universities demonstrate to the outside world how they shape their social task, formulate joint ambitions for scientific education and research and valorization, and lobby for the preconditions that are needed to realise these ambitions.
