On behalf of the Central Government Real Estate Agency, Redept supported the Bloemendaal municipality in renting the former Oldenhove care centre for housing status holders and other emergency househunters.
Municipalities must offer status holders suitable housing. The government offers various support options for this. One of these is assisting municipalities with real estate expertise through the Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB). Redept was appointed by the RVB to provide the Bloemendaal municipality with this advice and support in its ambitious plan to provide temporary shelter for 150 househunters in the former care complex Oldenhove, of which 90 for status holders. The complex – previously in long-term use as a care home – will be rented by the municipality for 10 years from owner St Jacob. The lease was negotiated in a project team together with 4Building, La Gro Geelkerken Advocaten and the municipality.
The Central Government Real Estate Agency works for and on behalf of the Dutch State.
