Redept advised Nationale-Nederlanden in leasing approximately 3,800 m² of office space in Amsterdam South-east.
The Amsterdam office of Nationale-Nederlanden was for many years located in the Toorop building, close to the Amstel. In 2025 it will move into Oval Tower in Amsterdam South-east. Redept conducted a market inventory on behalf of NN to find a suitable location that met NN’s requirements and wishes. The new location needed to meet NN’s sustainability ambitions, with proximity to an intercity station being essential. After an extensive search process, a decision was made for Oval Tower, partly due to the LEED Gold-certification. Also the renovated ground floor area and the location close to NS-station Bijlmer ArenA played an important role in its choice. This location fits well into the portfolio strategy, with flexibility being one of the core values.
Redept carried out the acquisition process on behalf of Nationale-Nederlanden, including the search and analysis process and negotiating the commercial conditions. Furthermore, Redept negotiated the rental agreement in close cooperation with Stibbe advocaten.
Redept is a party with integrity and proves it. The financial and qualitative analyses were instrumental in our decision-making. Redept was flexible in adapting and constantly providing renewed information.
