The Product Board for Horticulture appointed Redept as delegated client for the disposition process of its 6,500 m² head office that had become surplus as a result of the Rutte II cabinet's abolition of the product boards. Redept designed and carried out the broker selection and coordinated the process leading to a sale of the property to an owner-occupier. During the process Redept also appealed the property tax assessment and appeared on behalf of the Product Board as expert witness at the valuation tribunal. As a result the value of the property for local tax purposes was reduced by around 50%.
