Redept has been awarded the certificate Regulated by RICS. That is an integrity standard for ethics, business competence and professionalism in commercial practice. The advice practice was established in 2011 and specialises in Corporate Real Estate offering services exclusively to occupiers of real estate. Redept was set up by Paul Stotesbury FRICS and Leon van Leersum FRICS. Their Fellowship (FRICS-title) is as result of their achievements within the RICS organisation. From 1998 to 2006 Stotesbury was Chairman of RICS Nederland. He transformed the organisation from a social networking club for British expats into the Dutch oriented organsation that it is today.  Van Leersum established RICS Czech Republic and was one of the initiators of the Kristal Commission – a commission with as objective to provide the board with advice around regulation of integrity. Van Leersum: “The status of Regulated Firm is a confirmation that we comply with all the standards that may be expected from us.  Certainly for our international clients is this a clearly recognisable qualification.” RICS, worldwide a byword for professionalism in real estate, has since November 2010 successfully expanded its European activities in the area of regulation of firms.  More than 260 firms in Continental Europe are now ‘Regulated by RICS’ (for a summary see: http://www.joinricsineurope.eu/nl/regulatedfirms).  The moniker ‘Regulated by RICS’ confirms that a company maintains a strict code of conduct and strives for the highest professional and ethical norms. Regulated firms are controlled by one of the leading regulatory organisations in the world – and demonstrate therewith that they support a strict code of conduct and live the highest professional and ethical norms. Regulation of firms leads to more protection for the public because it is expected from firms that they respond to all complaints and ensure  that they are adequately insured against damages by financial losses and/or professional negligence. Companies on the European continent can apply voluntarily for the hallmark ‘Regulated by RICS’. To qualify for RICS regulation, at least 50% of the directors must be RICS members.
