Redept supported DOK (the public library) in the rental negotiations for the expansion and transformation of the existing public library.
The library transformed into OPEN, the informal and inspirational meeting place in Delft where language, culture and technique come together. In the summer of 2018 the VAK cooperative (Delft centre for the arts) will move into the renovated building. Redept regeared the existing rental agreement for Vesteplein 100 whereby the retail unit Vestpoort 10 (former CoolCat) will be incorporated into OPEN to create a cultural centre of around 4,950 m².
DOK Delft is, as one of the most innovative libraries in The Netherlands and a centre for language and cultural education, a public, prominent and accessible facility.
