Redept has rented new office space in the Five55 building for the central services of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
It concerns approximately 2,700 m² on the 7th and 8th floors of the renovated office building Five55. Redept negotiated a flexible rental agreement on market terms. The central services of the University are moving because the current location on Rochussenstraat will be fully used for educational purposes.

The support services of the Hogeschool are moving as a result of the full use of the current location on the Rochussenstraat for educational activities.
When in the spring of 2021 it turned out that the University was dealing with a large increase in the number of registrations in the domains of healthcare and technology, it quickly became clear that extra space was needed. The search for office space started in mid-April and a lease was signed at the end of June. An intensive process in which, despite the speed, no concessions were made in terms of care.
Decisive for Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in choosing Blaak Five55 was the location close to other HR locations and excellent public transport accessibility. In addition, after the installation package had been completed, this location could already be taken into use in September. Landlord Cromwell was assisted by CBRE.
At the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences there are around 39,000 students and some 4,000 staff. The education offer consists of a wide assortment in all sectors, except agricultural. The education is closely alligned with urban developments in the Rotterdam region.
