With the purchase, AM is committed to the development of the Steigerblok, part of the Holland Park South area, the last phase of the large-scale Holland Park area development. Steigerblok offers space for 440 high-quality, affordable, varied and sustainable owner-occupied and rental homes. Various commercial facilities and green public spaces are also included in the plan.

The development is characterised by a mix of buildings in a continuous park landscape, which creates a lively environment with plenty of space for recreation and meeting. The Steigerblok is part of the Holland Park South development, which is part of the large-scale Holland Park area development in Diemen. The purchase of the Inholland location in Diemen fits with AM’s broader vision to create attractive and liveable neighbourhoods that meet the needs of current and future generations. With attention to sustainability, quality and innovation, AM is committed to the positive development of the urban landscape.

Inholland University of Applied Sciences and AM are pleased with this agreement and look forward to a successful development of the Steigerblok, which also marks the start of the development of Holland Park South. Housing corporation Rochdale is the intended buyer of the social / affordable homes within the plan. The transfer of the location will take place in 2024 to ensure a smooth transition for all parties involved, including students. The sale on behalf of Inholland University of Applied Sciences was carried out by means of a structured tender under the supervision of Redept.
