Nationale-Nederlanden commits to Haagse Poort for the long term
Redept negotiated a new long-term lease agreement on behalf of Nationale-Nederlanden, whereby NN will rent approximately 28,500 m² of office space and 400 parking spaces in the so-called ‘low-rise’ section of the Haagse Poort complex. In collaboration with landlord Stoneweg, the complex, which was completed in 1994, will be made more sustainable in accordance with ‘Paris Proof’.
In addition, two atria will be constructed between the existing office wings, creating a welcoming reception and event space and aligning the building’s orientation more clearly with its surroundings. Just like the building itself, the outdoor area will also be greened and upgraded.
The building was originally designed by Kraaijvanger Urbis, which was once again called in by Stoneweg to shape the renovation. Redept, in collaboration with Stibbe, negotiated a new lease agreement and cooperation agreement under market-conform conditions. The renovated building is scheduled for completion in 2027.
