New long-term rental agreement for 12,500 m² offices negotiated with attention for sustainability
Long-time occupier of Delftse Poort, Nationale-Nederlanden, has renegotiated and extended its expiring lease. NN will rent 12,500 m² in Rotterdam’s most recognisable building in the coming years. Redept negotiated a new lease agreement on behalf of NN with attention to flexibility, sustainability and functionality. NN considered a number of alternative locations, with the location of Delftse Poort, next to Central Station, and the willingness of landlord CBRE IM to invest in sustainability measures being the deciding factor. This extension is an important step for NN in optimising its national office portfolio, in which its ESG objectives are guaranteed, as well as sufficient flexibility for the future.
Redept is a party with integrity and proves it. The financial and qualitative analyses were instrumental in our decision-making. Redept was flexible in adapting and constantly providing renewed information.
