Service Magazine, March 2013: Organisations are increasingly forced to choose between achieving consistency (by decreasing the number of vendors) and engaging with best in class local providers (by selecting the best service provider or supplier om a case-by-case basis). Some innovatieve companies are enrolling a new sourcing-model – the integrator-model – as a solution for this dilemma. The diffentiating factor of this role is that the integrator will take over all responsibilty for the execution, measures performance and ensures a consistent level of service delivery across a variety of suppliers.
