Both (large) companies and governments are using real estate increasingly as a strategic factor to achieve the core objectives of their organisations. \u00a0And where in other sectors decentralisation is the dominant trend, the real estate discipline is making the opposite move. Real estate decisions are being taken centrally, supported by specialist real estate managers. How is real estate management organised in practice? How is the profession developing? How is the game of supply and demand being played? And what can governments and companies learn from each other? \u00a0AT Osborne invited six public and private real estate strategists to compare their approaches. Leon van Leersum gives his view.
